We have a special guest presenters – Katrina Zavalney of Aranya Solutions and Matthew Trumm of the Camp Fire Restoration Project

Aranya Solutions purpose is to enrich the quality of life within targeted economically challenged and developing areas and develops systematic changes with a focus on localization serving as a bridge to resources and providing necessary infrastructure.

On November 8, 2018, the town of Paradise, California was destroyed by a massive fire. Apparently started by power lines, killing over 80 people and destroying almost 14,000 homes, this was California’s most disastrous fire. The recovery process will take years, but the work has already started.

The Camp Fire Restoration Project aims to organize boots on the ground technical, educational, and financial support and demonstrate methods of recovery that work with the needs of nature and humans through applying permaculture and other ecological restoration methods.

The goal of The Camp Fire Restoration Project is to support landowners and private and public agencies in environmental and community restoration in the areas affected by the devastating Camp Fire in Butte County, California
