Urban Permaculture Design Training in San Francisco

Come discover practical, solutions for beyond-sustainable change for you, your career, your neighbors, your community, and find a vision for the world that works for all life! Climate change, tar sands pipelines, GMOs, drought, species extinction… Faced with world-crisis like these, many people numb out in hopeless overwhelm. Instead if you are the type of person interested in exploring solutions – healthy, organic food, renewable energy, natural building, alternative currencies, greywater, chickens and more, the Urban Permaculture Institute of San Francisco produces permaculture design certificate training (PDC) focusing on urban strategies that work in the city or anywhere you may go. Through a mix of classroom time and hands-on activities, we will explore methods of designing and establishing regenerative communities and economies. We visit and participate at several permaculture projects in San Francisco and the Bay Area, observing and interacting with permaculture principles in practice.  The next urban PDC starts on March 19th, so you can register online now at http://www.upisf.com.

Locations:  Mission EcoCenter, Potrero Hill, and various other permaculture sites in San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Schedule: The class schedule intends to accommodate full time students, working professionals and families. Wednesday evenings and Saturdays (see website for details)
